If You Want Different Results, You Need Different Behavior

If You Want Different Results, You Need Different Behavior

Inspired by Grand Master William Clark’s October 14, 2026 Staff Meeting

Most business owners want growth.

But growth requires change.

If a school has been producing the same number of students, the same revenue, and the same results year after year, setting a bigger goal alone will not change anything.

The Goal Is Not the Strategy

Saying:

“We want to grow 20% next year”

does not explain how that growth will happen.

The real work begins when you ask:

What will we do differently?

Maybe the school needs to:

  • Recruit every day.
  • Follow up faster.
  • Use Progress Checks more consistently.
  • Develop a Coach program.
  • Set Black Belt goals earlier.
  • Make more presentations.
  • Use the systems already available.

The answer will be different for every school.

Consistency Is the Difference

One strong week does not create a strong year.

One recruiting push does not create sustainable growth.

One great month does not guarantee the next one.

The behaviors that create success have to be repeated.

Again.

And again.

And again.

If nothing changes in the way you operate, nothing changes in the result.

Choose the goal.

Then choose the behavior that makes the goal possible.
