A Strong Month Starts With a Strong Plan
A Strong Month Starts With a Strong Plan
Inspired by Grand Master William Clark’s October 5, 2026 Staff Meeting
Most martial arts schools do not fail because they lack goals.
They fail because the goals are not connected to a plan.
It is easy to say:
“We want 20 new members.”
“We want stronger retention.”
“We want more upgrades.”
But what does that require this week? What has to happen today?
Start With Last Month
Before planning the next month, look backward.
What worked?
What did not?
Where were the zeros?
Which presentations never happened?
Which opportunities were missed?
A monthly goal becomes useful only when it turns into specific weekly and daily activity.
If you want 20 new members, how many leads do you need?
How many appointments?
How many introductory lessons?
How many presentations?
The same applies to retention, upgrades, Coaching, early renewals, and every other area of the business.
Do not enter the month hoping for a result. Build the result into the plan.
Know the goal.
Know the activity required.
Know who is responsible.
Then measure the results.
A strong month does not happen by accident. It starts with a strong plan.
